Default Biltwell Continental

Anyone had any experience with this seat? I like the way it looks, I'm looking for a bit more back rest than the stock Street Bob seat. I spend the vast majority of my riding at 70-80mph and don't feel held on

I was contemplating that seat it looks good. I went with the LE pera Cherokee instead. Love the look but won't know the comfort until spring. I believe the biltwell has a decent price tag. Good luck.

I don't have it but I did sit on it before they released them. Pretty comfy. I had one of their sprung solo seats on my rigid for a few years and that was really good quality. It's not leather but that's to be expected for the price

That Cherokee looks good on your bike. As for pricing over here I'd expect to pay £200 for the Biltwell and £310 for the Daytona sport. Those were the two I thought I was choosing from. the Cherokee is £400 and I'm not sure it would look right on my bike. I have just started to love that king and queen look on more modern bikes though.

Like the stuff the Tramp guys in Osaka are doing.

Really all I want is something to move my butt back from the stock Streetbob seat which starts to slope up really early and I'm sitting on the back of it with no support at 70mph.

That's a nice one in the pic. I really wanted the look of the Le pera pleated so it ended up costing me $650 to get it to Canada. A lot for a seat! I noticed that it actually brings you further forward which is not ideal as I am tall. Hopefully I will get used to it. Check out the Mustang square back. Looks similar and cheaper.

I have this seat on my SB and I'm a fan. It's comfortable and taller in the back, so I get that "locked in" feeling when cruising. I just took it over New Year to my sister's (about 2.5 hours away) and it was comfortable the entire ride. I have yet to take it on a longer trip but it's a great seat, comfortable and easy on the pocketbook. Here's the pic of my bike with the Biltwell seat, I posted it in another thread a while back.

It looks good on your bike.

There is just one thing bugging me about dyna seats. On the Biltwell you can see the rear tank mount on the other seats they have a weird bump to hide it. I don't really like either.

I think I'm definitely leaning towards pleated. I love this one's look

Anything other than Biltwell (or the smooth daytona) I'll have to import myself which could be costly.

I have the Biltwell Continental on my bike and I like it. I got it so I could ride with the wife. I also have a Mustang solo. With the Biltwell, the seat height is a bit higher and it sits me slightly farther forward than the Mustang which took a bit of getting used to. I like the look of it more than the Mustang. For the $$$ it's a good seat.

Thanks, it seems like the Mustang puts you backward from the stock Street Bob solo, is that right?
