Good Morning all, I feel riding days are right around the corner! but the past few cold days Ive been thinking of replacing the stock 72 seat. My original plan was to throw a leather spring solo seat from DK on there and call it day, quality reputation, looks nice, and it has a deep dip to it, so it looks like it will hold my a** where it needs to be.
But after sitting on a buddies suzuki my though process changed. He has a "king/queen" style seat, the look is cool but the comfort is RAD!!. The lower back support feels great! The seat that catches my eye for my purposes is the LePera Cherokee Diamond Stitch.
Questions I have, has anyone used the cherokee? What are your opinions? any pics? is 409 a crazy price for a premium vinyl seat?
Also, anyone with the DK Premium leather solo seat, hows the comfort? opinions?
I thought about getting that one, but didn't really like the look. Instead I went w/ the biltwell hb low pro seat, and had it custom wrapped. Paid a bit more for it but I liked the way it turned out.
Little hard as it hasn't been broken in yet, but still softer than stock
i also had the builtwell hb seat. the Cherokee is a much better seat for your passenger then the builtwell. I would say the HB is a good choice is you dont want to spend the money on the Cherokee. comfort is very close, ill say the cherokee is more comfy cuz i paid more. the cherokee back support is nice, but take a little bit to get use too.
