I just placed my order with RB Racing this afternoon for a Pro Stock Challenge and I'll be going 117" once it shows up. Plan is to go with the kit from HD and run TMan cams, send the heads off to get worked and crank to Darkhorse. And hopefully after the motor comes the FXRT fairing. I'm already running the same pipe on my Softail and love it.
So who's got the T Sport fairing? Looking to go with Conely's but I'm not sure what height windshield I should get. I hear certain fairings have wind buffeting at higher speeds.

first off, i dont have one but im looking as well. From everything I've been reading online, it seems everyone has varying results in regards to buffeting regardless of windshield size. Some get it and some dont. If you do happen to get some wind buffeting, JD makes a kit to slightly angle your windshield that supposedly fixes the issue. As far as windshields, its your preference man. Attached is a link to JD's customer bikes gallery with windshield sizes for references. Personally i like when it comes slightly above the handlebars.
just my 2 pennies.
theres also a few companies that sell em online like JD customs, Conely's, and certified OKC (i think im going with them as i really like their look)

I have a jd customs with 14" shield and I'm 5'10" and I love it. No buffeting at any speeds for me. My buddy got a conely's and had issues so I avoided those. EDIT..... Wasn't an issue with the quality but an issue with the company itself.

I am in the midst of lucky Dave 13 inch bar install on the 16 fxdls and I removed the gas tank during the process. Accidently ripe out the molex plug under the fuel tank. There are 3 wires coming from the fuel tank black orange yellow. And 3 wires on the bike blue white and grey/green. I need to figure out which order to put the tank wires back into the molex plug. Anyone have a clue? All the dealers in my area don't have the manual.

That's the fuel gauge.
My 2015 FXDL manual says:
Orange to Black
White/Yellow to White Yellow
Black to Black/Green
You'll need a 2016 manual but this may help. Good luck!
