No the shocks look to be 12". I just overlayed a picture of my bike at the same angle as one of the promo pictures of the "S" and the ride height looks to be identical. If there is any difference it will be in the seat. Nothing guaranteed but that is how it looks in my overlay.

I ride a 14 Ultra Limited. If I were a bit younger, I would buy the new 16 Low Rider S. That bike is a great buy! 110" motor, 6 speed, blacked out, it has the look and performance. I will put 13" shocks on it along with a oil cooler. Harley really hit the nail on the head with this one! love it!

I don't want that junk inside my motor because I like to stay way up in the RPM range as do many guys that ride Dynas and FXR's.
You want all that junk in your motor....Go buy a Sloptail, they're junk anyway so you won't want to push them too hard.
Thanks I will. Nothing says not cool, like two rear shocks. I test road a gayrider and was not impressed. Every time you slow down the thing feels like it is going to vibrate apart.

If that's how you really feel then don't buy one. I'm willing to trade a little vibration for less weight & better handling. If you like to ride further than the local Starbucks to drink coffee & admire how cool your Softail looks you would understand why folks ride the Dyna.

I had a 180 on my 09 FXD and did not like the fit; the rim is too narrow for a 180. The bike comes stock with 160-70-17 while the 180 is a 180-60-17. It is wider and shorter so the sidewall is at a steeper angle causing the tire to round and wear out faster. Additionally while it looked better from the rear the shorter tire did not fill the fender as well. I have since added taller shocks so this would be even more prominent.

The pics in the mountains are with 180's and the other is with the 160's.

So why exactly are you trolling on the Dyna Page? How about you get your *** out of here and go back to split tail land where you belong!

This bike is sensational! The only performance mod it will need is a set of pipes and maybe some Ohlins on the back but I wont know that until I ride it. It has a 110, dual rotors up front, all blacked out, cartridge forks, modified mid controls, café fairing, day maker.....All those cosmetic touches required to black out a bike are really expensive, really really expensive. I would powder coat the rims, replace the rear fender and take some cool **** off my bike before trading it in.
I spent a ton of money on my bike (09 FXD) to include cams, air cleaner, tuner, dyno run, exhaust, seat, T-bars..... and it will probably get smoked by this thing.

Great job HD, thanks for listening.
