How many of you got a rain sock for your air filter and a spanner for you shocks with the bike? I thought I read that they were included. My dealer thinks I'm crazy.
I had V&H pro pipes on my wide glide I would not get those again. I would drag them all the time and the stupid mount bracket broke 3 times on me. They sound great but with all the troubles I had with them I would never put them on another bike I own.
Mine too on another low rider, but a welder reinforced it and no more breakage

I just took delivery of a '17 LRS and it came with both. Your dealer is crazy...or trying to milk you for the extra$.

My 2016 did too. My dealer did give me the wrong owners manual when I purchased the bike though. The rain sock was for the oval filter that they swapped for a cone style and I ordered a wrench which they refunded me for. The manual they originally gave me was for a regular Lowrider, the correct one had a paper that said Revision B.
Try this trick on them for the spanner...Pull out your owner's manual and show them the page that says:
To prevent damage to the adjustment and locknuts, do not use any other wrench than Spanner
Tool 14900080 provided with the motorcycle.
As for the sock, I can't find specific mention in the manual that it is included but most everyone here received one. I'm pretty sure the sock is part of every screamin' eagle intake....?

Yeah, I just read that a little while ago. They want $26 for the wrench and $20 for the sock. Was the wrench hidden on the bike somewhere or did they hand it to you? We asked the prep guys and they said they hadn't seen anything extra.

They handed me the wrench with the owners manual and the rain sock came installed on the HD heavy breather cone.
Both were included with mine. If they say "sorry, don't have them..." - in a friendly way, say to the sales manager - "I'm pretty sure that they are supposed to be included with the bike, in fact is says so in the manual re: the wrench at least. So if they didn't come with mine, I'll just call HD customer service and let them know that you told me you didn't get them with my bike. I'm sure they'll take care of it."
Say it with a genuine smile and a good attitude and I bet they'll "find" them...

If not, call HD...
I kind of already did that, except for the call harley part. They are holding firm on the air cleaner sock, but offered to give me a suspension wrench off the shelf, but it isn't the correct one, they didn't have the correct one on hand. It has more of a square end for the normal shock collars (Square peg round hole), and the manual specifically states to use the special tool.
I'm planning to go back with the owners manual now that I read that section about it being included and see if they will order one for me. I will just buy a rain sock because I am tired of fooling with it.
