I have three issues/questions I'm hoping someone can assist me with.
I'm interest in a two inch handlebar riser. I did not see one in the HD parts catalog. If I go aftermarket (what vendor do u recommend?) would I need to purchase longer clutch or brake wiring? Could I do this mod myself, with ease?
See my post #618 on the previous page. I installed a 3" riser extension (and I'm assuming your question refers to a 2" riser extension, not a 2" riser) from DK customs. No problem with cables but again, see my post because I'm too lazy to write it all again.
Thanks for the answers on the plate relocation. I just ordered it. Now to figure out what bags.
I did find a few minutes to put on some Baxter Xpegs tonight...

I finally viewed most of this thread and noticed your pegs. I'm looking at similar pegs from DK, just b/c I'm also ordering risers. Are you pleased with those new pegs? Are they comfortable. Do they compromise/lose any additional lean angle?
The pegs are SUPER comfortable. I love them. I looked at DK, and various others. The traction pins on the baxter pegs are black, and on the DK in the pics they are chrome. Also the DK appeared to have a longer mounting lobe that looked to push the pedal further out from the bike. I had a tough time getting over the $60 higher price on the baxter pegs, but I am VERY happy with them.
They do not seem to compromise or lose any lean angle. I am still getting used to how far I can lean my FXDLS over tho, and I had not scraped the stock pegs, and I haven't scraped the baxter pedals yet either. I have leaned it over way farther than I thought was possible...I would have scraped through my boots on my 48 already, and the FXDLS just keeps leaning. Love this bike!
Man, I suck at this Search engine. I keep seeing the custom PV mounts. Where can these be had? I see the handlebar mounts, and visors on the Dynojet site, and IronAces has the Road/Street Glide mount. Other than that, JPcycles has multiple electronic mounts.
Is there somebody else that is making a custom Power Vision mount? Much appreciated, and sorry, I am sure it has been covered many times.

Amazon? It uses a standard AMPS pattern so you can use RAM mounts, or a variety of others...

TIA/Best,

I have some from DK, no change in lean angle that I can tell. I also like that you can allow for rotation so that the platform stays on your foot regardless of angle. Very comfy.

I had a ram X mount that was great for my phone, bought the back plate with the holes for the PV for $6 on eBay. The ram stuff is nice in that it's all really adjustable with extra parts for different products or vehicles.

I second the ram X mount. Crashed on my BMW GS 1200 6 weeks ago on the street. My cell phone was still in the mount unharmed after a 20 mph high side. Can't say the same for my collarbone. Just ordered a second one for the Street Bob.

Why is it always the collarbone? I broke mine in a low side a few years ago too. And off a mountain bike, and hitting the deck while jumping off a boat trying to dock in high winds and lost my footing like the clumsy *** I am...
They need something like 8lbs of force to break? Like a damn chicken bone I tell ya.

Best I have seen is hardcase performance. Not cheap, but beautiful. That's what's going on mine once seat is installed. Going with the 7" and renthal bars.
