thinking about trading my wide Glide in on one of these.
with the new Milwaukee 8 motor I am thinking this model is going to only be a one or two year option. I think people are going to be talking about this bike for years to come.
only one dealer around me had one of these but all of them had AT LEAST one of the Softail version.
agreed... people will forget about the slim S in a year or two, but these dynas are going to be hot ticket for quite awhile I predict. Well, unless they do another hotrod dyna like it. That's why all the "big wheel" bagger places are starting to do more Dyna/FXR stuff.
Well motor work is done. Got a basic tune in the bike to enjoy this weekend and break in. Auto tuning just for hell of it. Goes on the dyno next week but so far motor is seeming like a whole new animal.
Just added the DK Customs 2" fat handlebar extensions. What a big difference way more comfortable. Easy install took me about 20 minutes. I think the clutch cable is maxed. I don't see how some are getting the 3" risers extensions on without a new clutch cable. Risers are now at 7".
First time posting! Need to get some good pics of my new lowrider up Been looking for bags and wanted to see if anyone has any bad&g left solo bags on theirs. My issue is I do have bag pegs, and the license place on the side. I THINK it will fit but still not sure.. Anyone have this? Have any pics??

What are folks thoughts on the stock seat? I have a street bob and I want a solo seat w/ more back support to keep me planted on the bike. Is the stock lowrider s seat a good option or just go aftermarket?

I had a street bob, and tried many different seats before I found on I liked. I ended up with a saddlemen knuckle, it was the best out of what I tried.
I like the S seat and haven't changed it yet. It definitely gives more of a back to keep you from moving back than any other seat I have tried. I guess everyone can decide on the cosmetics for themselves, but the as far as comfort, it is the most comfortable stock Dyna seat I have tried.
