Gearhead88, that's about how the slipons on my 04 sounded. A nice rumbly sound, but not obnoxious. Just what I am looking for. Thanks for the information.
Hopefully the new FXDLS owners can help - I'm putting 13" Lucky Dave's bars on mine and scratching my head on wire extensions. Does the fact that it has cruise control change the kit needed? I've been looking at ones built for the Street Bob, but I'm wondering if it's actually going to work with the CC. Plus, the TBW hopefully has enough slack.. or I'll need that too. Braided cables I've got already.
I looked at the badlander it seemed hard to me. I read a lot of good reviews about Mustang seats and figured I'd give it a shot. If I didn't like it, I would just return it but I think it's gonna stay.
I just rode on the mustang vintage solo for the first time today. 100 miles and not an ounce of discomfort.

You should have enough wire slack in the spine. Have you checked? Pull some out and have a look before going and buying wire extensions.
You will need to extend the clutch and brake lines for 13" bars. You'll need an ABS dual disk brake line kit of the appropriate length. Sounds like you sourced those already though. How much? I heard the brake kits are near $300?
Finished up installing the bags today. Pretty happy with the outcome. Anyone else with the GBG relocation have trouble getting the rear part of the bag installed onto the docking points? It seems as if the stock tails lights are the issue. I managed to get them on and off ok, but it would be much easier if they weren't there. Thinking I may switch the the custom dynamics signal/tail light plate and ditch the oem signals/lamps.
Hey, Ive been hovering around a while and thought it was time to chime in.
Picked up my FXDLS a few weeks ago and loving it. I've got a biltwell continental seat on and it's been very comfy so far.
I'm looking at getting a powervision, and i see some of you guys are running them. Where have you guys been getting your maps from? There's none available on the PV website for 2016 dyna's with a 110 engine? or are you just autotuning from the stock map?

I absolutely hated the Leather Badlander on day one (and two), but with most things on a Harley, I have found that they seem to wear in.
After the first 100 miles, either the seat formed to my *** and thighs, or vice versa. My buddy hit me up for a trip to Mt. Hood early Sat morning, and I considered swapping the solo back on. I was pleasantly surprised after the first 100 miles. We will see how the wifey does next weekend on a trip down the coast highway.
Owner's Manual has it. If you were waiting for the Service Manual.
I really hope my 2008 FXDB didn't have this connector, because I always pulled the battery cover, connected the positive clamp to the pos terminal, and clipped the negative clamp to the frame. This is a lot simpler.
