Let me explain it respectfully- this thread was "hey who's tried these defender bags?" And you posted something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
It's the same as someone saying "who has tried this particular passenger seat?" And replying with "I know a company that makes sidecars! Passengers sit in sidecars!"
It's a very different style and form. Yes you can put stuff in both, but the OP was asking about a specific part. No need to peddle something completely different.
I don't know....flaming bags are pretty much exactly like Defender bags.....
You are correct and I see that now. Before spending a lot on a set of bags I directed him to where I bought mine and it should have been done in a different thread? However, the reply I received could have been delivered differently. The downside of forums is that you can't see who you are talking to. Thanks for the reply - stay vertical. Horizontal to the road is not good.
to my knowledge for division has repop fxrp bags. My buddy has a set from them, they are very high quality and he really digs them. I have a set of Big als defender repops on order, should be here by next wednesday. I will try to remember to post some feedback with pics when i get them installed on the fxd.
So: After checking the Big als bags over and mounting them to my bike, The bags said on the website that they were ABS molded. Looking at them(not sure if you can see in the pictures, sorry not the best light in the shop) the tops of the bags seem to be ABS but inside the bags looks like they are fiberglass. The mounting bars are very sturdy and seem to be quality powder coating. It only took me about 25 mins to mount them to the bike. The 3 mounting points may not be quite as sturdy as the original FXDP mounting points are definitely sturdy enough to load up the bags. Ill load up a few pictures, hopefully they help out, tried to get a few angles.

bg78,
anyway we could get pics of just the mounting bars without the bags in place? I'm curious to see the mounting points, ect.
Here's mine off the bike. Installed last night. Thinking about starting a new thread with a good write up. Yay or nay? Seems easier than sifting through 6 pages of this for anyone that actually owns the bags
