Question for the guys running these. Do any of the fairings clear handguards? I'm running 14" Lucky Dave's San Diego bars with Valholl Destroyer handguards and I'd like to keep them. Thanks!
With the massive fairing you can probabaly ditch the handguards
Ok, so I've decided to sell my FXDXT fairing and make the jump to the FXRT fairing. My question for those of you with actual experience is, what fairing did you use and if you had to do it over again would you the same fairing? Not really interested in the I've heard *insert dealer name* is garbage or I've heard *insert dealer name* has horrible customer service comments.
Also, what did you need to buy to make the install complete? Looks like BMC and BBC comes complete and maybe the latest Connely's, but overall it looks like, headlight, bucket/ring maybe a better shield?...anything else?
I have deviant Fab fairing and it's very rough around the edges and has sheet metal screws holding everything together in stead of nut serts and bolts. If I had it to do again I would pic someone else. I will also be asking more questions. I just never imagined I would have to ask if the edges were finished and what type of hard ware is being used.

There is only so much you can tell from website pictures, but you are right, who would think you have to ask if proper hardware is used. I'm not a fan of spending money just to spend money, but maybe the pricier options are the way to go??
his fxrd maybe the cats meow but I won't know and don't really care. What I see from bmc looks good, but then again you won't know till you can see it in person. I hope Corbin has some of his stuff at Sturgis this year. JD has his at Sturgis, but they are already on bikes panted, so unsure what it looks like raw.

Do you have any pictures available. I'm currently thinking about purchasing a FXRD setup from them. I'm not crazy about having to use sheet metal screws and I'd like to see the quality of the fairing itself. Thanks to another member on here I've seen BBC's quality and will not be going with them.
That's surprising to hear because everyone I've spoken with that has a Deviant Fabrications FXRD fairing loves it. I've spoken with the owner and his customer service seems top notch. Haven't ordered mine just yet, but I'm going with his for sure.
what are you guys doing for light pods? anyone have a link for lights thatll work nice in them? Also, i wasnt sure if anyone was making lens for those as well.

I don't have his fxrd. Rumor is it's good but I don't know personally. I'll get pics of mine later
