2010 dyna fork oil change

Think so. 2009 was like that. See service. It was 50K disassemble and inspect. Bet a dealer would pop you good for that. Personally would not worry about it unless you used it for motocross. Lot of maintenance was just set up to generate income to dealers. In the past clutch and manual primary was called out. Mine never changed in 45K . I checked the neck bearing and did the fork oil a while back. Waste of time.

Switched my fork springs at 500 miles,
Purchased a 12v oil tube marine pump and suctioned the stock oil out
installed new springs and Rico intiminators and 10wt amsoil
Three years later pulled it all apart, drained and refilled with amsoil 10wt.
The three year drain was a waste of time, it was clean. very clean.
Original seals still installed.
So I would say if the tubes don't leak then a five year no matter of mileage would be a good check.
You could save yourself time and just suck it out.
The only thing is when you get to the bottom of sucking it out you need to pump the front end a few times to get the old oil out. Works.
When you fill add some oio pump it a few ties to fill the add to proper hieght from top of tube.
I believe 26 ozs stock but 23 ozs with the intiminators installed each tube.

the 12v oil tube marine pump sounds like a good idea. looks like i can pick one up for about $25. i would probably still take the front wheel off so that i could manually pump each leg to get out the old oil.
I'm plannng on using Bel-ray fork oil. 15wt or 20wt...i havent decided yet. the bel-ray site suggests 20wt...

The level of the fork oil is measured with the springs and spacers removed and the slider fully compressed. Add some fork oil then pump the slider to be certain all air is removed then set the level; measure from the top edge of the fork tube.
The 49mm fork tubes on the Wide Glide use 29.4 ounces of fluid, 3.74" from the top edge of the fork tube.

My 2009 Dyna service manual.
Re-position fork tube vertically in fork holding tool. With
slider tube compressed, fill the fork with Harley-Davidson
TYPE E FORK OIL (Part No. HD-99884-80) until it is 4.3
in. (110 mm), approximately 26.6 oz (787 cc) from top of
fork tube:
Slowly pump slider 8 to 10 times to exhaust air from
assembly. Fully compress slider to determine oil level.
NOTE
Fork oil level is measured from top of fork tube, with spacer
and spring removed and fork fully compressed.
Using the PRO-LEVEL OIL GAUGE (Part No. HD-
59000A), adjust the oil level to specification.
Pull out the slider and install the spring (4) in the fork tube
with the tightly wound end at the bottom.
Install the washer (5) and spring collar (8).
