Default New to me Lowrider

Well i picked up my bike today. I got to ride maybe 30 miles or so. It's a lot different that what im used to only ever had sport bikes. I'm kinda tapped financially til next pay day but then gonna slowly start buying parts. It's an older bike 99 lowrider only had 14,000 miles. Here are the pictures from the dealer website. I would have taken pics myself but started raining. First thing to go are those buck horn bars.

I know its not all fancy and new but i just got of prison a few months ago and don't wanna go that far in debt yet. I payed 4800 for it and that leaves me plenty of room to make it my own

Nice! My wrists hurt just looking at those bars with the pullback risers.

Thanks for the replies, I was actually surprised that there wasnt more vibration through those bars but i just hate the look and positioning of them I am tall and they come back too far. Not really sure what bars to go with i had a another post about a set of bars i was looking at but still not sure. If i go with bars that are shorter than the current ones do you think i would need new cables. I know if you go taller you need new bars but never really heard anyone say their cables are too long. Not sure though cause seems like they would have too much slack in the line if i went with drag bars.

Glad to see you bought it. Cables should be fine with whatever shorter bars you use, just use common sense routing the cables.

If you're short on cash, don't get caught up in spending more than you should customizing it. Change the bars, remove the side reflectors and dumb crash bar and you're ready to roll.
