Yeah, I'm not at all concerned about the salvage title. Just a piece of paper. Lots of chopped bikes start as basketcases.

Yeah...$2,000 just for the tank.

I can re-do it for around $100, tho.

I wanted to get rid of the factory graphics anyway.

I'm a bit unclear as to why they included a new rear tire. It and the wheel looked fine to me. Not that it matters. Would have been totaled regardless.

Shop said the frame and engine look good so I'm buying it back. Now I need to find a used late model (49mm) Fat Bob front end.

$1700 buy back, actually. A touch higher than I think most people would actually pay at auction, but I don't think I'd get anywhere trying to haggle.
