That sounds like it was a lot of work! The forum audience thanks you!
It was a huge pain and I'm super frustrated that I *somehow* lost all my CAD renderings. I thought I downloaded everything from Photobucket but apparently not. I probably still have the original jpegs in my CAD folder but I haven't looked yet.

Thanks. The whole idea with that caliper and low mount was to make it LESS obvious than the original boat anchor. Hopefully this does the trick.
Got my 30mm cartridges today. I ordered them a couple months ago but told Howard to take his time since I'm moving so slow. They shipped just before Irma plowed into Florida and they got held up until now. No biggie.
Since I had Howard do the work, they're not much to take pics of. Just the adjuster caps. I'll try to get some pics of the them in the trees tomorrow. I want to make a custom dust cover for the neck bearings before I put it back together. Need to go get some 2.5" stock and machine it tomorrow.
Ran out and picked up a 6" chunk of 2.5" round 316 stainless ($43) and made another black K&N filter ($2 + filter)
Degreased thoroughly then an hour soaking in 150 degree water with a box of black Rit and some salt. The cat is not impressed. I think I'm gonna buy some black filter oil to see if it will darken up some more.
