Just brought home my new FXDLS. I had a slim and traded it in for a '15 Road Glide a couple years ago. I love the Glide, but wanted a quick around town bike. One thing I noticed on the first ride was the poor braking compared to the much heavier Road Glide. So that was an easy fix with a set of Brembos. What an easy upgrade and what a difference.

I'm not sure of the part number. I got them on fleabay. Take offs from a '14 street glide. I installed them as they came but the brake pads are about 50%. I ordered a new set and will install when they arrive, but even with the 50% pads, they stop on a dime.
Question for the guys that have put on full exhausts. I'm looking to get the Bassani Road Rage III. Does it have bungs for the O2 sensors? I don't really want to add a power commander. Any problems running with full exhaust and no PCM upgrade?

Yes, they have o2 bungs.
You cannot remove that catted pipe, and install the RR without a tune.
It will throw fireballs out the pipe. Ask me how I know.

Thank you for that info on the calipers, Artist Formerly Known as Slim!
I noticed on the first ride that that my FXDL-S was pretty lame in the slow-down dep't. The sales weasel said they "get stronger later and I should use the rear more." My 2009 Speed Triple came with Brembos front and rear so I have the utmost respect for them after that exposure. I would love to do the swap you did but I am not real mechanically inclined. That said, is there any further info or details that you could share that would help me and others in the same boat that would make it more likely that we would buy the right thing on the first try? Like maybe a range of bikes that will swap over with no problems, etc? Also, did you encounter any issues with the actual install, such as mismatched hydraulic advantage, etc?
Thanks again for the info and thanks in advance for anything further you might provide.
Stay safe!
I find my S stops on the proverbial dime. It definitely improved dramatically after about 500 or so miles, as did the lever feel. Originally is was pretty soft and lame.
