I am doing some research on the 23" front wheel for my 2013 fxdb. I am under the impression that a 23"x3.5" wheel can be installed without changing the forks. What about the spacing? anyone with experience with installing the 23" wheel mind pointing me in the right direction with this?? thanks
cant find jack sh*t on an easy installation. soooo does anyone have a resource for a 23" hoop?
I'm going down the same paths at the moment. I was going that route and relacing but going the mammoth spoke instead. I believe I saw the bare hoop at jp cycle. As far as double discs, I'm not sure. Best of luck.
From what I gathered, it's pretty much the bearings, spacers and accounting for the extra height the 23 will bring to the table. I am going 3/4* trees and hopefully the Arlen ness fender will work.
Can anyone tell me if I can install a dual disc wheel on a streetbob 2013???
Go with a Fatbob front end: triple clamps, fork sliders and hub, and lace the 23 onto the FB hub. ( there's more detail to do than just that... but that's the gist of it )
