I am a little confused on how to read the "Ck-Eng lite" flashes. What I'm getting is 4s 0n - then 6 quick flashes - a pause - 4 slower flashes - short pause - 4 slower flashes - then the 6 - 4 - 4 repeats. I've looked at numerous list of code and can't figure out what this would be. It's from an '02 FXDWG. The problem I'm having is no spark to either head.
Sounds like you're reading it correctly. Rapid check engine light flashes, a pause, then the slow flashing for the first number, a pause and the slow flashing for the second number of the trouble code. A pause for several seconds then the engine light flashes rapidly again, a pause, then begins the second trouble code or repeats the same code again if there's only the one code.
I just looked in my '03 Wide Glide electrical diagnostics manual and don't see a '44' trouble code listed, either. If you get the chance double check the code to be certain...
That's where the confusion came in, I never saw a "44" code either. Thanks for the confirmation just the same. I posted a thread in Jan. about fuel flow problem with this bike. Now, I don't believe I ever had a problem there, it was the current problem manifesting itself. I rode the bike a few weeks ago, parked it, went back a week later, nothing. Cranks, but no spark to either head. Good plugs, new wires, "Ebay" Coil, "Ebay" ICM same results. Probably jump the gun on those two buys before checking the DTC's. The "44" code came from the Ebay ICM. The original ICM throws what appears to be a "99". With the original ICM connected the sequence is 4s on - 9 or 10 rapid flashes - 9 or 10 - 9 or 10 and on and on. So damn fast I can't tell if it's 9 or 10. I have not touched the TSM/TSSM, anyway to bench test that? That's my sorted tale. If you have any tricks I wouldn't mind hearing them.
