Default New to Dyna
New to HD as well, picked up an 05 FXD this year. So far I love it. Replaced the stock seat with a mustang 2-up, full V&H exhaust. Next up will be a fairing if I can find a good deal on a 1/4 style.

What V&H is that for your 05, looks like the slip ons? Check the classifieds, I think there's one in there now. (Fairing).

twin slash 3" slip ons. Actually got them for a steal as a used part from a HD dealer near me. Came off a bike with 5k, paid $150 for them.

I saw one for sale, but he seems set on not shipping, thanks for the heads up. Seemed to notice there's not a ton of stuff for the pre-06 fxds online.

04-05 especially, they only made that frame 2 years. There's stuff out there, but you need to pick and choose what look you're going for and make sure everything you want is available for your year. Take it from me, I've done my 04 over twice. If I thought it through the first time she'd be done, not still a work in progress

good to know. after building 3 jeeps i've started to learn it's easier to do it right the first time lol
