I agree.. when buying my fat bob I specifically bought a previous year because it didn't have ABS or an alarm. I don't want that BS. I like the fuel inj. but the simpler the better.
I'm the opposite. The alarm was a nice thing. The whole keyless option is a life saver. Just start and go without fumbling with keys. I never take my keys out. Plus I get an insurance discount in having the immobilizer/alarm on my insurance.
Hello to all the Dyna riders that have ridden fat bobs. I have a street glide that I love and have spent the 8 months getting setup just the way I want it. Now I want to add a Dyna to my stable. So here is my question, I love the look of the dyna fat bob. That said I wonder about how it handles compared other dyna models. It would be my short ride bike. Back and forth to work and bar hopper through the foothills with twisty roads in between destinations. I love the look of the softail breakout but think it would be crap on twisty roads. Your input is appreciated.
Since you already have a bagger, I would go with the Fat Bob as well. I was going to get a Fat Bob but since I only have the luxury of owning 1 bike, I went with the switchback instead. It's kind of a dyna bagger in a sense and my wife rides with me on trips quite often. Personally not a fan of the street bob, rode them and they seem alittle squirelly to me, but in defense, it wasn't set up for me. Just totally stock. If you wanna get a bike that is set up for performance, go with the lowrider S.

Badass Fatbob you have, I swear I have seen it around. Maybe, I live in So Cal as well.
