I agree.. when buying my fat bob I specifically bought a previous year because it didn't have ABS or an alarm. I don't want that BS. I like the fuel inj. but the simpler the better.

I'm the opposite. The alarm was a nice thing. The whole keyless option is a life saver. Just start and go without fumbling with keys. I never take my keys out. Plus I get an insurance discount in having the immobilizer/alarm on my insurance.

Back and forth to work and bar hopper through the foothills with twisty roads in between destinations. I love the look of the softail breakout but think it would be crap on twisty roads. Your input is appreciated.

Since you already have a bagger, I would go with the Fat Bob as well. I was going to get a Fat Bob but since I only have the luxury of owning 1 bike, I went with the switchback instead. It's kind of a dyna bagger in a sense and my wife rides with me on trips quite often. Personally not a fan of the street bob, rode them and they seem alittle squirelly to me, but in defense, it wasn't set up for me. Just totally stock. If you wanna get a bike that is set up for performance, go with the lowrider S.

Badass Fatbob you have, I swear I have seen it around. Maybe, I live in So Cal as well.
