Default 2011 FXDC Easy Brackets help

I have read through several of the easy bracket discussions but have yet to come across my concern. I relocated the turn signals and now I am trying to install the easy brackets but on the FXDC model the bolt for the turn signal is also the bolt that secures the chrome trim. I intend on just buying a nut and securing the bracket that way but the easy brackets don't attach to the original turn signal hole so ill have to use the hole behind it. Has anyone run into this? I am sorry for being so long winded.

I did this on my 2011 FXDC using the Viking Bracket which is basically the same thing. There is a threaded nut built into the fended already. Just screw in the quick detach hardware bolt. Just make sure the bolt is not going to contact the tire. I had to trim my bolts so they would be flush with the nut

The issue I am running into is that the rear bolt hole is not threaded so I guess I'm going to go buy a smaller bolt for the rear where the turn signals were located.

This is something that we take care of. You will be provided with a 5/16" bolt and nylon lock nut. Here are the installation instruction: http://www.greatbikegear.com/media/PDF/DNA-L2-INSTR.pdf
