Just put on new riser bushings because mine were wore out I went with the LA choppers solid riser bushings. They give off a little more vibration but feel way better with how stiff they are. I was just curious why the solid bushings don't come with the metal sleeves that, the stock ones do
The metal sleeves allow you to get proper torque on the bolts. Without, you are just smooshing rubber. Won't torque and still allow dampening. Worst case, the torque tears thru the rubber.
Obviously none of that is a problem with metal bushings.

the fun bounce is gone but, my bars are now straight... no sleeve... two separate metal cylinders for each set. torqued to spec. there is more vibration like you mentioned.
i think the compression from the bolt tightening acts as the sleeve... at lest on my hd china express bushings
