Alright I going to be a pain in the *** and start flooding brake threads...leaning toward Tokicos, but is there any specific model or size?
Found a good set that are 108mm off a 2009. That should work? I don't know my 6 pot vs 4piston blah blah...I'm a brake newb that wants some better power.
Brembos are quite pricy. The middle of the road would be the 108mm monobloc Sumitomos off of an R6 or an R1 which would probably be around $250 for a set. I think I paid around $80 for my Tokicos with shipping. Rebuilt them, used HH sintered pads, stock Harley rotors, and Big Al's brake lines. Braking power is outstanding now. The bolts Speed Merchant supplies with their kit will rust pretty quick.

As general rule I agree radial Brembos can be higher on pricing (with monoblocs usually being highest), but like anything you can find good deals. You can find Yamaha sumitomos at a good price usually, but some people don't like the "look". Tokicos will typically be the cheapest. There also Nissins out there

As far as the Speed Merchant mount, does 4piston or 6piston make any difference? Would both adequately bolt up and work with the stock Harley dual disc master cylinder?
