Update.

brake pads line up with active area of disc

calipers have fixed interface, need to find some suitable shim to fit around; or remove interface

Especially looked for the silver colored star Yamaha/Sumitomo calipers to match bike

Found some time to do a first trial assembly, by hand. Looks good. Need to shim between bagger brothers brackets and fork mounting elements to align the caliper to the disks. Caliper fits nice on the disc. Now these are 2019 R6 calipers (or so I'm told), and they do not have a loose bushings to align to R6 fork, but have fixed "bushings". So I'll need to look for a shim (*) that fits over these to ensure stability when tightening the caliper to the bb bracket. Don't need much extra brake line, about 2,5 to 3 cm extra. Next steps : the shims (*), and new brake lines.

So how many of you guys had to shim the bracket to the fork leg? This is my 2011 FXDC with a Bagger Brothers bracket using the think lock washer that comes in kit if the bracket in the middle of the bracket and the fork leg just to test it out and it looks like I would need the equivalent to double of that to be centered. Any thoughts?

BTW the difference in stopping power from. The stock one is Amazing! It was totally worth doing 👍🏼.

I think with any non stock caliper application you’ll have to shim it. Not a big deal unless you don’t do it.

I did it and it was quick and easy......... now I have to admit that the reason I asked the question was because I thought I didn't see and shim provided by Bagger Brothers but stupid my I didn't recheck the box and sure enought they where there in a separate plastic bag So all good now and REALLY HAPPY with the results.

One more question, who has done the Tokico + BB bracket + Arlen Ness Big Brake Kit combo? Wondering if it can be done without any trouble or if having an two adaptor brackets together something people are not trying out?

The bagger brothers brackets do not have a recess for the pins at the end of the radial calipers. I understand the pins can either be pulled out (if removable) or grinded off (as on late model R6 calipers they are fixed). Did anybody ever experience that the radial caliper moves relative to the brackets under braking forces...
