Well the time has come...Im thinking about selling my baby...I don't have to sell but my garage is full with many other projects and 2 other scoots currently..I'm posting because i would love some input..or perhaps what i should take bottom dollar...heavily customized so i know i won't see anything near what i really want but i was thinking 9 grand bottom dollar but i would be much happier with 10k...thoughts comments concerns please..Am i way off here?? thanks
Depending on the area, I don't see a problem with 9k, I'd stick with 10k bottom dollar if that's what you want, you said you don't have to sell. Look at it this way, a dealer is gonna ask more than 10k atleast in my area for it pretty much nine stock.
did you keep the stock parts? if so i would put back as many of them as i could, may take you a day to do it but the aftermarket parts would bring a lot more sold outright
and then you could ask $10k or best offer for the bike..
one thing i would change though for sure is the bars if you have them, ape hangers aren't a big seller and can be a major negotiating point for the buyer as it costs quite a bit to swap them back
Would agree on the Bars .. Many like Apes but Many don't as well .. For some they just don't have the reach .. Myself would leave them be but have the option of changing them to finalize a sale ..
