Any one got pictures of their iED set up? Where they connected their ground wires, where they tucked extra wiring etc. mine just came in the mail from night rider and I wanna put them on this weekend. I've read some posts that talk about what some members have done but I'd like to get a visual if possible.
Sorry, I didn't do any pictures when I experimented with the ViED's but the install is a simple process.
On the rear cylinder the ViED will be located under the seat, connect the ground to the negative terminal on the battery. You'll need to remove the seat to make any adjustments to your percentages.
On the front it's a bit more involved. I connected the ground to the back side of the voltage regulator using the bolt from the voltage regulator on the right side; I used a washer behind the voltage regulator to be certain the ground would have full contact with the frame. The ViED was placed under the plastic housing that holds the O2 connector; I wrapped the extra length of wire and used a few zip ties to keep the wiring neat...
Thanks for the advice. That was the route I was planning on taking in my head. I know it's not super complicated I'm just the type of person who needs a game plan before I start a project. I'm sure once I really look at it I can figure out what I need to do. Thanks again!
