The wife has a 2015 streetbob with the SE slip ons (part # 80678-08).
Although it sounds OK at best, it sure sounds wimpy. She doesn't want super loud like my VH 2-2 BR, but a little more noise would be ok. At idle and low rpms its ok, but when you really get on it, it reminds me of my old 73 Honda CL 350 (the scrambler with the screwy pipes designed to burn your left leg). She has an HD intake and download from the dealer as well...
It would appear the baffles can be removed - but whats inside I have no clue and thought I'd research before I perform surgery, but, haven't seen a bunch of info other than the big city thunder baffles that apparently don't fit these pipes.
That being said, can one remove the baffles and remove some packing (if there is any) or make a slight mod to get a little more noise and not have to mess with the program, or should I just shut up and ride? haha...

yank the baffles and add dk thunder torque insert lollipops
The TTI's are an option - I tried them on my VH BR with mixed results... I felt like I COULD get them perfectly orientated if I really messed around with them...but decided the stock VH baffles provided a little smoother throttle response and gave up the better noise and torque (maybe). I'm hoping someone says "take the baffles out, cut 1" off or remove 1" of packing, reinstall, no DL required, enjoy!" I doubt this is the case, because even with HD's download, I can tell shes a bit on the lean side...even with the restrictive exhaust, I can hear some popping.
I took a peek in there today...about 3" in from the pipe it looks like a radiator - very tightly spaced thing metal...got me wondering now what's actually in there.
Yeah, I figured as much. Cutting it out would for sure mess w the back pressure enough to need a tune I bet. I just wanted to add a little more noise without spending cash...oh well
