Ordered new frt tire, with the spoke rim do I need anything additional? Someone mentioned rubber strip and tube?

 

Opinions vary. Some say for the cost of new a new tube is cheap insurance. Others run them for several tire lifes.

The rim strip will be fine unless it's torn. It just protects the tube from the spoke nipples.

 

I mostly agree. I'd replace the old strip as well. Its like 3 bucks. It will protect the tube you to put in from the heads on the spokes.... more cheap insurance. I'd reolace the tube and strip
