$6.500 is a fair asking price and if it matches your description don't go lower unless you need the money.

The West Coast values are quite a bit higher than on the East Coast. You can still find great prices in the Mid-West through the Eastern states. I've even seen FXR's listed in my local area on Craig's List that are located in the eastern states. Just look at your local CL ads to see what people are asking for similar condition FXR's. The closer to stock, the higher the price.

Up here in the PNW a reasonably complete, reasonably nice example will go for $5k-$7k.

Mint, original, $8k-$9k.

Coulda bought a clean '92 FXR with 28K on it for $5500 a few years ago. No idea what they're going for nowadays 'round here, 'cos I haven't seen one in years. They don't even seem to pop up on CL either, but this seems to be Softail & Bagger territory.

Was offered 10K for mine several times and turn them all down however when one offered $12,000 Cash in hand was like the Godfather an offer I couldn't refuse ..

I was looking at the Street bob today. People are crazy. A 2 year old bike, with handlebars and custom paint,10k miles, for 500$ less than a new one. WTF do people want to get paid to ride a bike? Saw a lot of bikes with high milage for way more than the retail price, just because they've put some mods?

Guess folks don't realize that most mods bring zero dollars. If ya wanna attempt to recoup any of that mod money, yer gonna hafta sell those parts separately.

Totally Agree on That in most cases, but seeing how Most my Mods are Engine Mods will just keep it if one does not think Cam Tensioner and Oil Pump Upgrade, Cam Bearings and Andrews Cams themselves are not worth something extra ..
