Really nice shape 1994 FXR with 38k. What would be a reasonible selling price?

I've seen FXR's in that condition going for $9000 & up in the SF Bay Area. The FXR's that are being sold for cheap have been hacked up into stunt bikes, but the bikes that are original & clean are expensive. !994's had the updated 3.15-1 primary gear ratio so that's a bonus, too.

Around here with a quick look at the ads, you can cut Tommy C's price in half. They hover around the 4000-6000 mark....

It probably wouldn't bring much here, either, unless you could find somebody that actually knew what they were looking at (not real likely). I think finding the right buyer will be key.

Yep, and only idiots pay extra for mods so expect to get blue book and not anything over that. You do mods because you want to, not to make any money on them.

It really just depends on what the owner thinks they have, and what someone is willing to pay.


Honestly, buying an FXR is kind of like buying a Camero or a mustang.... Chances are, someone beat the crap out of it before you got to it... My three cents
