Hopefully the Paughco hub is drilled better than the DNA!

Honestly, i THINK, don't know, the Paughco is a DNA. Can't prove a thing.

Wouldn't surprise me. Pretty typical for several brands to share a single manufacturing source.

Default .... feels wrong.

The "ebays" were nearly the same quality.

I started with the Tincup part numbers and ended up with this selection:
http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...CatEntryType=2

Went with these (because cheap): 43000026
http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...04-43000026--1

Went to the dealer to pick up, boom. The covers were the same as 43428-09... mysteries.

They need contrast....

That looks great! You're right, the contrast of the gloss black against the chrome looks good and that new 21×3.50 wheel with dual Big Nessies is going to look fantastic...

used JW as a comp. BB matched the price.

120/70b/-21 and 180/60b-17 ordered.

apologies....

unintentional hijacking of a thread resulted in a miracle price match and tires getting ordered:

I can point you to a thrust bearing upgrade for this tool (2 bearings) $15-20

Ego-free zone

Thrust beearing? I'm still green. What is that?

Pointing...

Motion Industries Inc (Bearing Supply)

1/2" ID (.500) Bearing
3/4" ID (.750) Bearing

I have a local Motion Industries so i didn't pay freight. I see they have a $9.98 Flat rate charge.

May also want/need to pick up a Thinner 3/4-16 "Jam" Nut (because of adding thrust bearing thickness). I just milled mine, but they are available at a Hardware store.

Goes Here...

FYI, you can pretty much disregard the "Instructions" that come with that tool. Some of it is wrong (unless they corrected it) and other parts have you jumping through unnecessary hoops that make it harder to use.

I can give you some tips later that work for me, especially on bearing installation...a little "out of the box"

Also keep in mind you can use this tool without the "upgrade"
