F86, You might know this, but forget about the instructions or brand (other than for curiosity). Get your TPI and calc for .140" preload
Yes... I think I recall learning (years ago) that the correct procedure was as follows:
-Find TDC on compression stroke (both lifters at their lowest point)
-Adjust the pushrod so that it can just be rotated by hand, but with resistance
-Lengthen the pushrod about 1/8th of an inch
