High/Low voltage codes
My brothers 10' super glide is throwing voltage codes. Sometimes low sometimes high. we have changed the battery and the voltage regulator. Anyone ever have an issue like this or have any idea what may be causing it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I'd start with grounds. The voltage regulator is grounded to the frame using it's mounting bolts. The pad on which it mounts can get corroded since it is in the splash zone of the front wheel. The next major ground is on the frame under the front of the seat.
A faulty ground can confuse the voltage regulator and computer.

Check the wires/ connections that connect the regulator to the battery and grounds to both the regulator and battery.. This includes connection to the maxi-fuse and where the wire from regulator connects to the the main cable that goes from the Maxi fuse to the fuse block. I'd check the connection on the maxi fuse also... Also check grounds between the motor / frame / battery / regulator.
