Default 4" Risor on a 2006 Superglide?

Is this going to be a headache? How much cable and junk need to be installed? I need to come back far enough to help my back out on long rides. Thanks. Bryan

Installed 3" risers and new bars on my 06 without any cable change. I had to bend the brake line though.

I have a set of 4" lift, 2" pullback risers which I installed on my 06 Super Glide.

All the stock wiring and cables were fine. I also had to bend my brake line a little to relieve stress cuased by the longer reach.

I ended up going back to the stock risers until I decide what I want to do with my bars.

Let me know if you want a pair of risers cheap to try on your ride.

Why did you go back to the stock risor?

i am guessing he went back to stock riser because of the speedo standing in upward position with the pullback risers

Yeppers got 4" pulledbacks on mine, didn't have to change anything out except straighten out the brake line. Made the speedo stand up and noticable, i'm about use to it now. May get some mini apes when I have the $$.

my reason to just go apes was that every time i stood the bike up the risers would move n me bars would be out of wack , single risers ,no top plate

About 3-3.5" is about the most I was comfortable with on my machine. More than that and I thought there was a littlemore stress on the wires and cables than I was comfortable with.
