Well; my highway pegs are a bit different. The wife wanted to try lowers on her Low Rider, so I fitted a pair of older FLH lowers onto a Dyna "engine guard". They were too hot, so the lowers hang from the rafters and I took the engine guard, narrowed it 6", rolled it back, welded it to a old pair of highway peg mounts and had it powder coated. It now is mounted on my Fat Bob with a pair of adjustable highway pegs. Works good and contributes to the old "Duo Glide" look I like...I was considering floorboards but am a little hesitant after easily grounding out the boards on a Switchback test ride.

I have forward controls installed with the mini floorboards (large). For me that's my comfort position riding around the city. But I also have mid foot pegs installed on my street bob in the stock location for mid controls. This gives me an extra place to place my feet when on a longer trip. This setup actually gives me about 3 locations to put my feet (forward, toes on mids, and heel on mids with toes on floorboards).

I have forwards and crash bars with rubber foot rests on top and I put pegs on the side, on long rides I love them, gives me options for my feet and stretch the legs.
