Yea I'll double check my neck bearings I suppose since I didnt replace them but I have fully rebuilt the front end, regreased the bearings, checked and double checked fall away. Have still had the issue before and after. Still curious on any input with these rear mounts tho.

After putting on that new front mount and added a CCE fork brace the bike has seemed much better for a while but it is making a come back. Possibly my rear mount is just shot now and a new one would make it better...but with most stuff if I replace it, I usually upgrade it.

just a note too bike has 28,500 on it now. bought it at 8k with the sputhes already on it. Reading about the stock mounts, I'd bet the rear is toast anyways
If you are running Sputhe stabilizer, I'd bet the CCE rear mount don't help.. You are probably better going after the alignment, suspension and tires.. My DX would dance on 1/2 worn Metzlers. Mostly in the high speed sweepers under power (116 ci about 125 HP).. Finding the right tire will help.. Poor damping will cause the hobby horse action. The dancing on my bike didn't go away until after the motor went south.. During the rebuild, I replaced the rear tire / wheel with a 180/55-18 and re-aligned the wheels/tires in the frame. Don't know if it was the wheels, alignment, swingarm bearing rebuild that made the difference.. I was going for the look (and traction) and got excellent handling as the result..
