RE: any hint or suggestions on changing rocker boxes??? help
Jackyl, I've changed rocker box gaskets on my old evos before but never a TC. You'll need the torque specs and tightening sequences. Get the rear wheel off the ground and in a high gear. pull the plugs and rotate the rear wheel to find TDC. You want both valves closed to take pressure off the rockers. The 3 piece boxes on evosare a pain to get everything centered so I assume a 2 piece TC would be easier. The rear outer cover bolts look like just as big a PITA so its either cutting down a hex wrench or buying a lowprofile hex wrench that ratchets.
I'm glad you have a manual so you don't have to ask that Canandian piece of work for a free downloaded version lol. Good luck.
Tim

What am I missing here? I have had several people comment about having to use a modified allen. My bolts accept an allen or a 7/16" wrench.
Is this not a standard bolt on everyone's rocker covers? or am I just special
