Well worth it

If you have any other concerns, give John MaGee or Jeff a call @ (717) 464-2800. They were both great to talk to, John is the owner.
If you go this route, be sure you understand about the index marks on the clutch hub and on the back of the pressure plate - they should be lined up for a perfect install. This is a pic of the back of the pressure plate, look to see that tiny punch mark at the 12 o'clock position:

Barnett - for the clutch and hub
===========
I can appreciate information over load - you have any question on how this performs.., ask
Slow speed maneuverability (controlled clutch slipping) improved dramatically - more positive feedback
As for the clutch locking up under load - regardless the RPM / speed - No issues
Shifting - any RPM / Speed - No issues
Unless dragging - I would not recommend the heavy duty springs - go with the medium duty (it comes w/ 3 different spring kits) - the HD springs will fatigue your hand
I have a little over 2K miles on this setup.., with a built up 103

Other stuff to factor in
You'll need a torque wrench..., impact wrench if you can..., 1 3/16" socket (IIRC)..., a chock to keep the chain / compensator / clutch from spinning when loosening / tightening the bolts (I use a 1x2" piece of hardwood)..., primary oil and new a gasket
If you replace the clutch - soak the new one (fibers and steels) in oil for 24 hrs prior to installing - keeps it from tearing up on initial use
Oh..., and the clutch bolt is reverse threaded (left hand threads)

And all the possible work you mentioned you might do, do it, do it all, and post lots of pics
I rode up to Yellowstone this past weekend and my bike has the things mentioned that you want to do, and let me tell you, Rip City, Rip *&^%ing city
I've had the Hayden and the Baker, sold the Hayden and now happy with the Baker. For me the Hayden is cool design but in practice keep my primary chain tight as a drum....maybe over time it would wear down the shoe a bit but I was not willing to hope and wait. The whole idea of getting rid of the stock tensioner is to prevent over tightening of the primary chain, I'm not convinced the Hayden does that.
