serious!
Put the air blower between the grip and the handle bars & blow down between the grip and the bars while twisting!
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers

I also ran into some other problems. My brake line/hose seems to be to short. Does harley carry an extension? My other problem is that the wires are too short, but someone told me that i can get more slack from under the gas tank. How do i do that? Im new to bikes. please help

I put 10 inch mini apes on my FXD and was able to pull enough slack in the wiring. On the '03, there is a rubber plug on the right side of the neck you can remove to get at the wiring. Throttle and idle cables did not need to be replaced, but did need to be re-routed so they no longer pass through the tripple trees. Clutch cable and brake line needed to be replaced and the ones that came stock on the wide glide were the right length. Be sure to replace all the banjo washers when you replace the brake line.

I don't have a problem with the stock grips and I hate all the chrome aftermarket options available at the dealer, so when I switched to drag bars and cut my left grip off I went to the dealer and asked for another factory grip. Parts guy tossed it to me and said it was mine... can't beat that. I'll take $0.00 over $48 for the cheapest chrome grip set.
