Whats everyones take on half helmets? I have a harley half helmet and a absolutely hate it. Not only does it look gay as hell, it is not comfortable at all. Any speed over 50mph and the thing feels like it gonna pull your head off. Look kinda like that little martian on the flintstones, cant remember his name. Thinking about going to a 3/4 or maybe even a full but I dont wnt to sweat my *** off in a full helmet. I dont want another one that makes you look like a mushroom head. Which is better, 3/4 or full ????
I have a fulmer and really like it. It's not as small as a carbon fiber but smaller than most. You can't buy them online. Check your dealer. I found mine at Dale's HD in Mt. Vernon, IL. I had a Bikers Choice Skid Lid before that. It was pretty good but I dropped it too many times and wanted to try something new. Eventually, when I replace this one, I may get another Skid Lid.
Arai fullface, saved my life in 03 also have a 3/4 bell but it will try to pull off unless I run a windshield on my superglide.. when I buy another one it will also be a fullface, sometimes they are hot, but then I would not have a chin left if I would have had a beenie on in 03
I have the 3/4 daytona DOT in flat black. Its like a F'n noose at highway speeds.
It seems that the strap is too far back. If it was further to the front of the helmet it might hold it down better. Not sure if I should start drilling holes and modifing my helmet or not.....
Z1R Metro, Scorpion EXO check all. Scorpion fullface is extremly comfortable and reasonably priced. Z1R Metro looks a little odd but provides really good wind protection. I think it is the visor that is attached to it.
