Lol...this one is all over the place.

How bout except for the larger cosmetic coverings on the FLD Switchback it has the smallest tubes of the 06-later Dynas ... 41mm while all other "exposed" FX Dyna models as you know are 49mm.

And on that 1972 sporty referenced previously...i think it has only 35mm tubes (pre 39mm).

That's interesting. I assumed the front end of the FLD had 49mm tubes...that MoCo had up-sized the 41's across the board. I guess that means the FLS's are still 41mm as well...

Point well taken, 44 years is a long time. My main rider is an '04 Road King which I love and will never part with, bought it new. Want to build a HD Bobber and deciding whether to go with Dyna or Softail. Front-end is key. Probably will go with softail standard cause rear suspension lends more to bobber look.
