Default Dyna Front Ends

Are all Dyna models outfitted with the same quality front-ends or do the lower-end Dyna's have cheaper trees/forks?

I love the look and quality of the wide glide front end and wondering if I should only look at wide glides or can I entertain other dynas?

Don't want a cheap front-end with light-duty forks as used on sportys.

Thanks in advance.

I didn't mean to offend the Motor Company. One of my bikes, in fact the first Harley I owned, is a '72 Iron Head Sporty and the front-end leaves a lot to be desired. Of course that was under AMF ownership and a long time ago. My bad.

the only Dyna which doesn't have the small forks is the Switchback, which uses the FL front end.

I would say that a 1972 front-end from any bike would leave a lot to be desired compared to it's current counterpart...

To answer the OP directly, the quality is the same across the lineup. Most internals are the same/similar. Other than rake/length/brakes, differences are cosmetic.

Why so much rage. Dynas have switched to 49mm... the tubes are mostly the same outside of length on all but the defunct switch back and the superglides. Im thinking it would not hurt for you to go and review the current state of things...
