ALARM HELP???
So in an effort to ensure that my bike remains my bike, I stopped by the dealership today and picked up the HD Factory Alarm and Siren II. WHile there I inquired about having them installed.I was quoted 2 to 3 hours of labor, and setup an appointment 2 weeks from now. I realize that it is the busy season for the dealer, and will call around to see if anyone else can get me in sooner.
Barring this, I am debating how viable it is to do the install myself. I've seen the information here on the forums and the links to the install on an "01 FXDXT. On my '06 FXDBI, when I pull the cover off the electrical panel, I see a module at the bottom of the electrical caddy that is the same shape as the Alarm Module. Is this the Turn Signal Module (TSM) that I am supposed to remove and replace with the Alarm Module (TSSM)?
From here I assume I need to program the Alarm Module to mate it with the ECM. But how do I accomplish this?
I would appreciate any help, I hate to pay the dealership for something that should be plug and play. More importantly, I hate to have the alarm sit idly on the shelf for a few weeks until the dealer can install.

I would like to thank Trotter for his help. I was able to install the HD Factory Alarm and Siren II on my FXDBI this morning.
For those who don't have a security system on their bikes, and are contemplating the add on..... it's a relatively easy install.
