Anyone who has spent some time on both the wide glide and the low rider got input on the two as far as comfort and performance go? Thinking of picking up something newer than 2010 to be my Dailey rider next summer.
never ridden a wide, but I load the low rider up heavy for a 2 up trip, would not be without the dual brakes, also ditto on the foot peg position, is perfect for my 5'7" height.
I'm surprised by the opinions. any one have any opinions in favor of the wide glide? Sure is a sweet looking bike.
Yes I prefer the WideGlide hands down...my opinion though. I love the low down feel and feet a little in front. Plus the look of a slightly raked laced wheel is sexy af. I've ridden both. I owned a WG.

Either can be set up to out perform the other
Get what you like - then make it right
Out of the box - even set up for another biker - both suck
I've had 2 WGs, so I'm prejudiced, but I have to have forward controls, and hate floorboards. I'm 5'7" with 30" inseam. But then, I also have to have apes, which turn off lots of riders. Find a friendly dealer and ride them all - it's gotta be your choice...
