I should have gone back and reread the original post. You have a DL and I was thinking you originally had the DWG.. From what I wrote, in my experience The CCEs were fine.. The bike I had already had basically DWG tubes so it wasn't an option for me.. I will say one thing.. Don't get the cheap custom chrome ones..

They were a distributor that went belly up in around 2006/7.. I believe they did have a house brand fort tube.. The steel and machining was pretty good but the chrome plating was pretty soft.. Some of their stuff was pretty good but a lot of it wasn't so hot.

So i had a crazy deal picked some CCE hard chrome for $331 on ebay but of course they sent me an email saying there was an error they do not have em in stock and they are B.O. until dec. 1st minimum... I might go with Harley dwg tubes finally.

FWIW you can probably check with any place that uses Tucker Rocky or Drag Specialties for the tube.. I know Drag carries CCE. Not sure about Tucker Rocky.. If neither have stock, you have to wait until Whitehead sends some out..
