just my two cents i don`t care for it either, i think it looks good on a streetbob, it fits that look, i have a wideglide and saw one with it and (TO ME) it looked silly wideglides are supposed to be stretched out not hunchbacked, and they do play havick with fuel, and on wideglide they will dent your tank my friend found that out with the 2 inch, he took it off and thru it in river, not jackalys, but i love the popcorn give me a sack
Does anybody know if there are any clearence problems with a 2" lift on a 06 Dyna Wide Glide. I have read info stating that there isn't any issues and other ifo stating that there is clearence problems. Also I haven't seen any pics of Wide Glides with the lift so far does anybody have any.
Now that I have the lift, it drives me crazy to look at a bike without one. They look so flat as squashed down on top of the engine. Makes you wonder why HD doesn't build them that way!
Doesn't make me wonder. I've never been a big fan of the negative space created by stretching the frame. The gap between the tank and the jugs just makes it look like somethings missing. That's just me though...
I havent put mine on yet. I got a 2 1/4 " one. Still trying to free up some wires, as it feels real tight. Any insight on this guys ?? Just seems like the wires running under the dash are tight as hell. Tried freeing some slack, but it just wont move. I believe i'm going to have to extend the vent tube too. no big deal, have that ( now that i know where it is ). I have the dash off now as i'm installing the bad " gray " wire for the LED fuel kit. Gonna wait till this weekend to finish it all up, as I have a big sucker coming in on friday as well. killing all the birds at once...
Any help with freeing up the wires to provide a little more slack would be greatly appreciated. Should I just clip some of the zip ties off ??
