While looking around for more **** to add to my scooter, I came across a thread about Jackyl's tank lift.
After looking at some of the pics, I saw why peeps were doing it.
It then occured to me most of the pics were of Roberts and Softies so I thought maybe some of you FXD guys would appreciate a look at how yours could look with your top end exposed.
Looks good jay ! I have always liked the engine being exposed as much as possible ...looks good ! easier to get at things ! and probably helps a little with cooling the motor due to better air flow over the cooling fins on the cylinders !!!! I bet a sportster peanut tank would look good raised up just a skosh ........
Hello
Does the Tank lift help with the wind buffeting?
I have a 04 WG.
I run with a windshield.
I use a Jacks flap vest.
The vest does great good with wind buffeting.
The summer weather gets hot and high humidity here in VA.
I'm looking into other options for the wind.

I wear prescription glasses and before the tank lift my eyes would water bad. After I put on the tank lift the problem went away. The windvest is only 14 inch tall. It is realy surprizing how well the lift and windvest work together.
