is anyone currently using the screamin eagle race primary kit (lower ratio) on the street?
i am considering going to this as my 03 wideglide has a hot rodded tc88 of unknown spec that is EXTREMELY unhappy below 3000 rpm (pings under any sort of acceleration, still loping at 2000 rpm). pulls really nicely once you get it wound up (4500 to 7500 rpm), but i was looking to make the power a little bit more accessible around town. any info would br greatly appreciated.
Yes, I love mine! I like to keep my Twin wound up, as opposed to lugging it! I also went with S&S 510G gear driven cams with the conversion kit, as these cams are 3,000+ RPM cams!
