Hello everyone looking for a little help. Installed new rear turn signals and turn signal relocation kit on my 2013 wide glide. My low fuel light and security system light comes on even though my gas tank is full. Also my rear light turn on now only when brakes are applied or turn switch is turn on. Has anyone else come across this problem before and if so any instructions on how to fix. Thanks!
Hold on to your butt - we're fixin to traverse down a worm hole
==========
Does the fuel light / security light still act up if the newly installed lights are disconnected
Have you verified these new lights by connecting them to a separate pwr source / bttry
=====================
Are these lights incandescent (filament) or LED
If LED did they come with an equalizer (13 WGs are canbus based (if you're unsure what canbus is - it a resistance sensitive com link that runs the electronics - non equalzed LEDs can mess with said communications link causing all sorts of weird *** symptoms)

Thanks for replying. I have incandescent bulbs. I ohmed my left cables and it seems I have an open loop. Didn't connect the lights to other power source. Not sure if it's a grounding wire because this afternoon security and low fuel lights were off but the turn signal lights didn't light during normal operation just when brakes were applied or turn signal selected. So some indications come and go. One thing new lights came with different color wires. I connect black with black. Red to blue, and white to purple. Black, blue and purple were original colors. Thanks again for any advice this is my commuter and fun vehicle.

The running (tail) lights are integrated into the turn signals, so there needs to be four wires connected
Out of the bike's harness
Blk - Gnd to both sides
Blue - Running lights, both sides
Brn - Right turn signal
Purple (violet) - Left turn signal
(Someone check my colors - I'm doing it from memory)

Now how that equates to the red and white out of the lights - ain't got a clue
And the lights are missing one additional wire (if this actually the case then they are straight up turn signals.., w/o the running (tail) lights)
They won't work.., nor be legal w/o the tail light
