To Enter Transport Mode
1. With an assigned fob within range, turn the ignition switch
to IGN.
2. Before the security system lamp goes out, turn the ignition
switch to OFF.
3. Within three seconds, simultaneously press both the left
and the right turn signal switches.
4. After the turn signals flash once, the system enters the
transport mode. With the fob removed, the motorcycle can
be moved without setting off the alarm.
To Exit Transport Mode
With the fob present, turn the ignition switch to IGN to disarm
the system.

Does it bother you that the tender goes thorough the charge/maintain cycle ? That's exactly how it is supposed to work. Just leave it alone and it will be fine.
You do have to turn on the ignition to pull the main fuse or the siren will sound. If you do pull the main fuse, it will probably drain the battery in the siren and it will not operate until it is charged again or the battery in the siren is replaced.

Yeah I know it makes total sense. Maybe I'm just too **** in that regard. I never had my battery tender flash on and off like that while it was in storage before. Before I installed the Smart Siren I replaced the NiMi battery. So I know the internal battery is good. I will say that siren is LOUD!
