Installed New Battery - Now Security System Problem
The bike has been sitting all winter with no battery in it. I installed a new battery and the security system engages when I switch to ignition and, of course it won’t start. Oddly, I have a Smart Siren too but it didn’t sound, just the lights blinking.
Tried 2 different fobs with fresh batteries and it is still a no go. I have changed batteries before with no problem but I have never let it sit so long without a battery in it. Any ideas?
EDIT:
Never mind -- Fob batteries in upside down and thats not the first time I made that mistake

I entered the PIN and it worked -- thats what made me double check the Fobs. The odd thing was that with the fob battery upside down the Smart Siren didn't go off but after using the PIN it seems to be restored somehow -- a glitch I guess.
